It’s time to apply for federal grants, particularly USDA Value Added
Producer Grants (November deadline). If you plan to package, market,
or process your produce/product in any way, you are probably eligible.
Grant writers who won farmers more than $500,000 in Value-added grants
in the last two years alone can help. We are good at what we do
because we believe in good causes: local food, the environment and
social justice. If you always wanted to try for a grant but never had
