At Rosasharn Farm CSA we have just purchased a brand new Italian made
11 HP BCS 740 Walking Tractor with a tiller attachment and a rotary
plow attachment. We are willing to rent it out to help cover some of
the cost of purchasing it. We have a 2.5 acres CSA and have only had
the BCS a few weeks, but it is amazing! The attachments are easy to
change, the tiller has some nice perks like wheel differentiation for
easy turning and rotatable handle bars so you can till a bed and walk
alongside in the paths. The rotary plow attachment is great for
breaking new ground, flipping sod, making raised beds, making trenches
to plant potatoes and hilling vegetables. The tiller works well to
incorporated compost and other amendments and cultivate between beds.
