G-valve trouble

Does anyone know if there is a way of repairing a compensator valve
when the thread on one of the inlets has been damaged and the hole too
big to accept a brake-pipe connector ?
If I have to get another G-valve; would one from a Mini do the job ?
Here`s hoping someone can help.
