On Saturday at Priory Meadow, I had the good fortune to have a male Brown Hawker land on my trouser pocket, in order to eat his lunch at leisure.
Today, a return visit had another male (or perhaps it was the same one - maybe he likes me!) land twice on my arm (no meal this time though).
Also, I saw a male Southern Hawker patrolling on both ponds (not at the same time though - so it might be the same individual). This was the first time I have seen a male at this site, although Geoff Wilkinson sent me flight shots last week for an identification, and that was a male Southern Hawker too.
On the way home, I met Geoff, and he told me he had seen a female Broad-bodied Chaser in his garden this morning. Very late indeed!
