After a period of development at the Bieniale de Cerveira in Portugal,
Arnolfini Associate Artist Alex Bradley will present a new performance
Conditionality. For this work ex-bankrupt Bradley will make an embodiment of
the recession, literally tightening his belt and making physical the all too
often quoted crunches we are going through. Using his body, large scale
imagery and inspiration from the works of William Blake, Bradley will create
a glimpse into the global schism that is 2009.
