My name is Patricia Becton-Cobb, I live on 64th near Parent and I
recently became the advisor for the Top Teens community service group
under Top Ladies of Distinction. We will perform volunteer activities
in the surrounding communities of Culver City, Westchester, Baldwin
Hills, and Inglewood. We currently have abour 17 member, but my son is
the only member that lives in Ladera. As a new advisor, I would like to
open up this group to more Ladera teenagers as a way for our teens to
network and become more visible to the community. The teens also can
receive scholarships for college and attend conferences with other top
teens in San Diego, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. I ask anyone who
knows or has children from 8th to 11th grade to consider our program.
