Dear friends,
I am writing to let you know about Creative Practice forum, a new
online space for artists, practitioners, and scholars to share ideas
and information about their work. The forum is organized around the
concept of "creative practice" as a field in which people with a
variety of backgrounds and perspectives can meet. Please visit the
site to find out more.

Creative Practice forum was launched in September and has received
over 800 hits in the past two months. Since we have done almost no
publicity, people are coming to the site mostly from internet
searches that related to any of the topics in our posts; or to our
lively "news item" section, which lists upcoming workshops and other
events; or through searches for particular artists and/or performing
arts spaces which appear in our list of relevant links.
I sincerely hope that you will take a moment to visit this new site
and read what is there; make a comment; or consider proposing a post
on your own topic (write to me directly if you would like to do
this). As of the present moment, you can read a variety of posts from
myself, Dhira Rauch (NYC), Lane Pianta (Washington DC), and Domenico
Castaldo (Italy). Other posts are in the works, and an exciting list
of regular contributors is lined up to help the forum develop into a
unique and active community.
Sincerely,
Ben Spatz

P.S. For those of you who administer your own links pages and/or
blogrolls: I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider adding
CPf to your website. I am hoping that the community will continue to
grow and develop over the next several months.
