Regina Klenjoski Dance Company (RKDC) kicks off their 10 Year
Anniversary Season with the premiere of their newest dance theater
work, The Crossings. With a much-anticipated return to their home
venue for the first time since 2005, RKDC's The Crossings explores
and celebrates the mystery of the afterlife. "To die will be an
awfully big adventure" wrote J.M. Barrie. Choreographer Regina
Klenjoski agrees and says The Crossings is about 'the transition, the
space, between the end of your life and the beginning of your death.'
The Crossings is an original, episodic, multi-media dance theatre
work featuring nationally recognized, award winning collaborators
including Blue Man Group's own James Cook. The event also highlights
Ms. Klenjoski's 10 years of artmaking and dedication to the South Bay
community. The Crossings will be performed at 8 p.m. on Friday and
Saturday, November 20-21. A post-show Q&A with Ms. Klenjoski will be
held on Friday, November 20. The Saturday, November 21st performance
will be followed by RKDC's 10 Year Celebration Party and a Silent
Auction in the lobby. The James Armstrong Theatre is located at 3330
Civic Center Drive, Torrance, 90503. For more information visit
