We are proud to welcome Jones  Welsh (biography at the bottom of the page)
back as our instructor for the  "be and/or bring a beginner night" at the
LA/Santa Monica Contact Improv Jam!  
Class runs from 6:30 - 7:30pm, with the jam continuing until 9:00pm (class  
optional, for you independent rebels!) Please arrive a few minutes early to
be  ready to start at 6:30.
At Dance Home in Santa Monica. Dance Home is located  on the south side
of the street at 522 Santa Monica Blvd. between 5th and 6th  Streets in
Santa Monica, upstairs from Radio Shack.

Jones Welsh has been performing, directing, and teaching movement  and
theatre professionally in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle for the last 9  
years. Having a BA in theatre and dance from the University of Washington, his  
influences includes contemporary modern dance, gymnastics, Capoeira, and
Contact  and Comedy Improvisation. After touring with Diavolo Dance Theatre
for five  years, Jones now collaborates with Collage Dance Theatre, Invertigo
Dance  Theatre, and his partner Erin Schlabach, and others to create
innovative work in  Los Angeles. With Making Faces Productions, Jones has
co-produced many artists  and companies including the IN/EX Dance Project, Company Of
Strangers(.org), The  Wedding Journey with CatchMeBird(.com),
contra-tiempo(.org), and LA movement  festivals: the Improv Dance Festival
