Dancer, choreographer and improviser. Bob is a
co-founder of Links Hall Studio, a performance workspace in Chicago,
which he co-managed for 20 years, playing an active and prominent role
in that city's performing arts community. After leaving Chicago
he danced his way around the world and now divides his time between
Russia and New York.
Internationally acclaimed dancer and writer. Simone
has been perfoming with Luke Johnson as part of an LA
based ensemble. In Chicago she danced at Links Hall when Bob
Eisen was its director. Last month she was in North Eastern
Vermont, enjoying the fall colors through the early winter
snow.
Improvising since the late 1960's. Luke was an early
member the Public Works Improvisational Theatre Co. This summer
he taught improvisation at festivals in Moscow and the Altai
Mountains, Southern Siberia. He currently collaborates with Simone as
well as with Caroline Waters and Carmela Hermann.
Multi-instrumental composer/performer. Joey organizes
projects that vary from permaculture playshops to music and video
collaborations. A member of Public Works he has collaborated with Lee
Boek on multiple projects.
Artistic Director of Public Works Improvisational
Theatre Lee recently has been touring his one man
play,Confessions of a Pulpiteer. He produces the on going projects of
Public Works.
