Does anybody know what data Metro uses to evaluate how well its lines are meeting demand?
I've seen
http://www.metro.net/about/library/library-research/research-tools/transportation-statistics/
and
http://www.metro.net/news/ridership-statistics/
and I've seen the promising-looking data at
http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/planning/census_issues/ctpp/
but I haven't heard about LA County Metro using
origin/destination matrices.
(Nashville's MTA has used them, see
http://www.nashvillemta.org/PDF/Part4_Appendix_A_C.pdf
)
Thanks,
Dan
p.s. Ahh, Usenet, it's been a long time!
