Google Maps' traffic reports with "Expected to end: ..."

Hi.

Maybe I am misunderstanding this on Google Maps' traffic reports for Los
Angeles/L.A. area. When I read an incident like an accident, I see
something like this:

"Vehicle fire on CA-60 at Paramount Blvd
VEHICLE FIRE.
Started: Dec 14, 2011 2:01pm
Expected to end: Dec 15, 2011 1:14pm
Last updated: Dec 15, 2011 12:43pm"

I noticed "Expected to end: ..." get updated often, but the incidents
don't always end at that estimate end date and time. For example with
this current major incident that is supposed to last until Monday, this
says it is expected to end in about ten minutes. Why doesn't it not say
Monday instead or am I misunderstanding this "Expected to end: ..."
part?

This one is a big unknown. A truck burned under a bridge,
compromising the integrity of the overpass. They may have to tear
down the bridge before they can safely reopen the freeway. They're
still not sure when EB CA-60 will reopen.

Then, Google Maps' traffic maps should put in "unknown" or something
instead! It is not just for that incident, but for all incidents. Bah.

big incident is aiming for tomorrow instead of Monday according to
