The Committee for a Better Tomorrow has sued the Los Angeles Metropolitan
Transit Authority (LAMTA) over terms specified in a contract signed on
October 1, 1984 concerning equal access to rail lines by illegal aliens.

The agreement called for discounted fares to those who can prove they are
illegal aliens. They were to receive a 75% discount on daily fares and
monthly passes priced at $10.00.

As of this date, Metro has declined to offer this pricing structure.

Los Angeles Superior Court Magistrate Juan Ricardo is expected to rule on an
injunction today that may delay the opening of the Expo Line by as much as
ten years, the time most people expect this to wind its way through the
court system.

I think this should be allowed - so that we can arrest them as they apply
for it!

La Cucharacha isn't the "unofficial" Mexican anthem for no reason....
