Idea: Target City or Cities Instead of Countries

Andrew,

Great ideas in your proposal. One modification might be to target SA
Cities instead of Countries. Santiago, Chile for example has a
population of around 6.6 Million (about the same as all of Paraguay).
Effective outreach to Internet Cafe's might be more effective if the
geographic area is smaller.

Firefox growth in Chile is also showing some good growth so things
might be set up there for a project like this.

We should also figure out a way to make this program sustainable with
initial and continuing involvement from the Mozilla/Firefox community
in any region where we might try such program.

Starting to dig up directories like these might also help to identify
where the outreach might start.

That is a great idea. A smaller geographic area with the same
potential for growth with respect to total population size may make
the project more successful and more manageable. Chris, are there
strong Firefox communities already established in any potential South
American city?
