It is with great pleasure that Burco announces the launch of "eWiMAX", which is a product range we are releasing to cater for the Home and Small Office Market.

 

WiMAX is the newest technology to deliver Wireless High Speed Internet services.  Burco / Broadband Digital Solutions have been working hard for the past year to deploy this

in both Blantyre and Lilongwe. Burco was the first company in Malawi to purchase a WiMAX Version e licence, and this is an exciting development

as it enables mobile browsing at speeds that surpass any current technolgy available. It is also fibre ready which means we are able to deliver the newest

technology to arrive in Malawi via wireless.

 

There will be a number of different Hardware offerings to enable connection:

 

USB Dongle (Panja Service)  This device will enable outdoor / mobile connection and you may be able to connect indoors if close to a window facing the nearest tower.

Indoor Outdoor Unit (Kwathu Service)  This is an external antenna that will recieve WiMAX and connects to an indoor router which has 4 Ethernet Ports and broadcasts wifi in the house / office.

 

As a special Commercial Beta Test launch offer, we will be selling 50 Panja Dongles on Monday 15th March on a first come first serve basis.
