*MDUMC Singles Monday Update*

_Kick Back this Friday_
This Friday, July 25, is the next Kickback Koffee House held at the
MDUMC Connection Center, 13194 Memorial Dr. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. This
month, we’ll welcome Tawana, Mike Lazor (from Lazor Vision), and the
band Words in the Dirt. In the back room will be table games, Nintendo
Wii, and conversation. Everyone is asked to bring a snack to share. A
love offering of $3-$5 is requested at the door. This helps cover the
cost of the artists and some of our advertising expenses. By the way,
listen for announcements about the Koffee House on KSBJ on Tuesday (7:00
a.m.), Wednesday (5:00 p.m.), and Thursday (9:30 a.m.). Feel free to
invite everyone you know to come for a great evening!

* Golf lessons at 10:30 a.m. at the Connection Center
* The Ragamuffin class invites anyone who’s interested to join them for
their Movie/Dinner Night. Plans are to go see “Journey to
the Center of the Earth” (time TBD) and then have dinner at Skeeter’s in
Town & Country. Heather’s computer is on the blink,

provided. It’s a great opportunity to attend some really good concerts

to join us as we witness the gifts which God has blessed the performers!
_Singles Retreat to Arkansas_
Registration forms are beginning to arrive at Mount Sequoyah for the
Jurisdictional Singles Retreat on Nov. 14-16 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
You won’t want to miss this one! The keynote speaker is Brennan Manning,
author of _The Ragamuffin Gospel_, _Abba’s Child_, and many other books.
Music will be provided by Celia Whitler who’s outstanding! There will be
break-out sessions, a dance, a coffee house, morning vespers, and great
Christian fellowship with singles from the eight states of the South
Central Jurisdiction. Bus transportation will be provided from Houston.
