mi problema es con el limit_params cuando hago una consulta con la
funcion paginate del modelo. me carga todo bien en la vista. y cuando
hago click en siguiente ahi es donde me sale el error dee parametro,
mejor dicho el problema es cuando envio parametros por la url. como
puedo solucionarlo

Debes colocar la acción del controlador de la siguiente manera:

public function paginar($pagina = 1)
{

}

Es decir el número de página es un argumento con valor predeterminado
"1", ya que el partial paginador para dirigir a la pagina 1 no pasa
ningún valor en la url para el parametro de número de página, en
cambio para las páginas superiores a 1 si coloca el número de página
como parametro de la url.
