The times _can't_ be right, right? 7:30AM to 8:30AM? 7:30 AM in the morning? Before coffee? Before breakfast? Before life?

Hey, sounds like a great idea! I've been thinking about "hacker spaces" a lot lately, it would be cool to see some inspired projects and their corresponding faces.

Their website is nearly a year out of date.  Not a good sign.

Yeah, it actually exists though.

I second that, especially on the weekend.  But I might get my butt out of bed for this, it does sound interesting.  J

I wish we had a local shared makerspace, with 3d printers and laser cutters and cnc machines for public use.

http://c3kc.org/ The Cowtown Computer Congress KC is mostly a physical
shop, but there is free high speed internet and areas to work on desktop
and laptop alike. They even have a free public meeting once a month so
you can get a good feel before you join. They meet at the Hammerspace at
440 E. 63rd St. Kansas City, MO. Only reason I am not a member is
because with kids KC MO is just to far to do anything useful in the
evening.
