VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Basanta Adventure Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd (BATE) currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced "TOUR ASSISTANT".

Key Responsibilities:

1.       Taking care of asset inventories and maintenance.

2.       Assist in operational and logistics of respective tours and Treks.

3.       Liaising with vehicle operators, airlines, hoteliers and resort reps.

4.       Agreeing service levels, contracts and costs.

5.       Confirming customer names with airlines/ hotels.

6.       Collecting, evaluating and responding (as appropriate) to customer feedback.

7.       Using market research information to guide decisions.

8.       Producing brouchers  and internet-based information.

9.       Handling bookings, invoicing and issuing of tickets.

10.    Entertaining inquiries.

11.    Other duties as assigned.

Key Skills:

1.       Fluency in writing and spoken English a must

2.       A demonstrable interest in travel and tour business.

3.       Knowledge of key tour destinations.

4.       Excellent interpersonal skills.

5.       Communication skills.

6.       Customer service skills.

7.       Organizational skills.

8.       IT skills.

9.       Commercial awareness.

10.    Good time management skills.

 

Job Specification and Qualification:

1.       Minimum Bachelor's Degree completed in any discipline.

2.       Minimum one year experience in Travel Agency is a must.

3.       Proficient in relevant computer applications.

4.       Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
