I get too many emails from KTMKTM - how to change it?

A very common question sent to the KTMKTM moderator (about 1x per year if that) is:

Just a note: As of today, there are 843 members in the group. I guess a few people realise that a good percentage, around 550 members get your post in their inbox as soon as you post it. Please think before posting, check your spelling, be polite, reply only to author & not the cc list if you don't have to etc - everything you'd normally do before sending a mass email to a group of friends, strangers, future bosses or future spouses alike. Your email details are not visible by non-members, but they are visible to group members.
