Hello!

I am writing because we are casting Sherpa men in their 30's-60's for the upcoming Fox Studios/ Ben Stiller film THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY. We are seeking Sherpas in Nordic countries (since we are shooting in Iceland) and holding casting sessions in Copenhagen at the end of this week/ early next week.

In the film, Walter (Ben Stiller) goes on an adventure to the Himalayas where he meets some Sherpas. The roles probably will not have lines, so no acting experience is necessary. Shoot dates are approximately September 10th-11th with travel on both sides.
All candidates much have a valid passport for travel and compensation for featured extras is $500/work day & $250/travel day plus travel expenses.

We encourage ALL Sherpa Men in their 30's-60's to submit, although Ben is particularly interested in candidates who are 160 centimeters and shorter, who are also in their 50's-60's. Candidates can email us at cas...@casteriet.dk or even better call us:
