rar compression w/ encryption hangs

greetings -

I'm a new user with Krusader and think it might be useful, but am seeing an error when I try to compress with rar and add a password (assuming it's for encryption).  I see a status bar that doesn't go away.  It appears to hang.  Rar without password seems fine, and the system appears to have the right location for the rar code (/usr/bin/rar).

I am running Krusader 1.80 beta on a Ubuntu system.  Kernel is 2.6.20-16.
