First of all I want to say "thank you" to all the developers.
And the second of all:
1) It's a bit unconvinient to watch folders with the large amount of
files (especially, through samba protocol, or ftp) -- it loads the
list of files too long. Maybe it's better to cache such directories
and update this cache in the background?
2) I'm a Russian user and I have a lot of problems with encodings
(windows users have cp1251, old linuxoids have koi8r, and modern
linuxoids have utf8 :) -- and it would be VERY convinient to have a
viewer that select the encoding automatically (according to codes of
chars). It's not very simple and no universal solution exists, but it
would be very pleasant to see the first approximation at least.

This is a job for KDE itself... and it seems there is an solution for
KDE-4. See:
