Architecture changes - please avoid making changes in the VFS/PanelFunc area

Hello,

I'm making some architecture changes to the VFS and PanelFunc classes in order to add a new concept of "Actions"
(similar to the "Command" design pattern)

this is needed  in order to support queueing of operations.
please avoid making changes to those classes this weekend if possible since CVS conflicts are a pain ;)
