When I try to start krusader at root with Gnome Enviroment, krusader
changes the permissions of ~/.ICEAuthority to
root:root and then some applications couldn't start. Native root mode
doesn't work without kdesu and I start krusader
with bash skript with suid bit.

Can not confirm!
As I recall It is a update problem, which happened every time I
upgraded the kernel ... I haven't seen this problem for over a year.

although not using gnome, the chances of this happening are probably zero.
