Hi Guys,

"Tools -> Mountman" doesn't open the mountman GUI ... like the
maintoolbar button does.

When you open the Mountman GUI, de default window size (width) is to small IMHO.
When reopening the Mountman GUI it doesn't save the previous screen
size and opens again very small.

Current Krusader-SVN, Kubuntu 8.10 , Qt: 4.4.3 , KDE: 4.1.3

Thanks and bye,

Frank

Hi Frank,

I know the problem (MountMan from the menu cannot be opened).
Unfortunately the QT4 menus don't work the same way as QT3 did.
I've spent an hour trying to fix it, but it didn't manage, so I
started doing something else.

It's not sure that the KDE3 behaviour can be implemented in the KDE4
version.

Hi Csaba,

What about the next (temporary?) solution?
Tools -> Mountman: opens the mountman GUI
Tools -> (Un)mount: opens the mount-unmount commands of mountman.
Separating both functions in the Tools menu is probably much more easy
to implement.

Thanks and bye,

Frank

Frank,

The idea to add a new menuitem is OK, there is i18n freeze now.
We can't fix it this way before 2.0 stable.

Csaba,

I have created a bug report to not forget this issue.
https://sourceforge.net/tracker2/?func=detail&aid=2502285&group_id=6488&atid=106488

Other Mountman issue:
The default screen-size is to small, can you increase the default width?

An other issue with the viewer.
- View with a F3 a picture.
- Close the viewer
- Overwrite the the picture with an other picture (same file name)
- Re-open the picture with F3, the old picture is shown (F3_bad_cache.png)
I think I have seen this problem also on KDE3 an reported it in the past.
I'm not sure it was a KDE problem or not or
if there was a Krusader workaround for it or not (I can't remember any more).

Thanks and bye,

Frank

Hi Frank,

1. the PNG problem is related to the viewer of KDE4, I don't think we
could fix it
2. I've increased the size of the MountMan window (600x300), if you
resize the MountMan window, the new size will be saved, and this will
be used next time you start it.
