The beta will be open and thus anyone will be able to join, no matter
if you got onto the mailing list. However, people on the mailing list
will receive the invitation personally and probably a few hours before
I openly offer anyone to join.

But note this: Kod will be an actual beta (_not_ a kind of "hip
websites beta"). That means a lot of functionality missing, tech
know-how required and crashes are expected.

I've had a field day today, enjoying nature and cutting down a
christmas tree, so Kod is taking a break until tomorrow. Don't get
your hopes up too high now, but I think I will start the beta
tomorrow.
