Import Form into KoboCollect

I created a form on Kobo Form (the online version), saved it to an xml file, and copied that into my tablets /odk/forms directory (which is on the actual tablet, not an SD card, if that makes a difference).  But when I try to load the form on the tablet, I can't find it.  I tried searching for the answer in the User Guide, but it didn't seem to have anything besides "put it in the forms directory and it will magically appear in the app."  Any help is much appreciated!  I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7" running Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).
