Yes, I told you I'd be back, again! After all, there's only 10
days left to the beginning of Christmas and Holiday week! There's
just so much going on that I simply had to tell you about it.
Holiday Hours:
Please remember that we are open 7 days a week until Christmas eve, at
which time we'll be closing at 6 PM.
We will re-open on the 26th and keep our normal schedule from then on
(closed on Tuesdays). We will be closing at 6 PM on New Year's eve
and we will be closed on New Year's Day.
Christmas Hats for Roosevelt Hospital:
We have been requested to contribute knit hats for the patients in
specific wards. So far, Roosevelt Hospital has gotten a good
response, but they still need about 5 more hats. If anyone is
interested in contributing, we are happy to receive them here at the
store. Please drop off by the 20th and we'll see that they're sent on
over.
Sample Sale:
We have a few very well priced knitted samples from Vogue Knitting.
If interested, please stop by and see if there's something you might
want. All proceeds are donated to the Asian Women's Center, a charity
that helps women and their families cope with difficult issues.
Book Club:
First Thursday every month, 6-8 pm
January: "Sarah's Key" by Tatiana DeRosnay
February: "The Places in Between" by Rory Stewart

Maxine Levinson - Make a Hat: Knitting in the Round

Please be sure to call or stop by and sign up, if you're interested.
All of the of these teacher/designers are very popular and classes
tend to sell out quickly.

Mark Your Calendars!!!
January 2nd marks the 4th Anniversary of Knitty City! There will be
cake! There will be surprises! There will be Pearl & the Knitty City
Gang! Hopefully, there will be you, too!!! Regular Hours will be
observed: 11-6PM
