*Fall Yarn*

We'll have lots of great new fall yarn rolling in the door during the months
of August and September.  This first week we have a wonderful new tweed from
Berroco - Blackstone

it's softer to touch than most tweeds and I'm really looking forward to
getting your reaction to it.  Also new is *Pure Merino

*, (the new colors are at the bottom of the page) one of our favorites made
even better!  The Berroco pattern books are already here, *Norah Gaughan's
volume 5 <http://www.berroco.com/ng5/ng5_photoview_pv.html>* has some very
interesting and intriguing designs as usual, and my favorite this time is
the collection of *Mens patterns from Norah

*.  I want to make ALL of them :-)

We also have a new yarn from Classic Elite Yarns, *Fresco*, which is a sport
weight wool/baby alpaca/angora blend that is so heavenly, I bought 30
colors!  So there should be something to please everyone.  This yarn will be
lovely knit in the Bohus style as well (we're planning a class, stay
tuned...).  We also have new to us *Moorland*, a heathery single-ply worsted
with wonderful earthy colors.  Classic Elite pattern books are also here.
There's a whole book of patterns by one of my favorites: *Jared Flood of
Brooklyn Tweed <http://brooklyntweed.blogspot.com>* fame.

*August Happy Stitching Hour*

Come to the next Happy Hour on
*Friday, August 7, from 5 to 7 pm*

Join us for this social knitting time, meet some new people, re-connect with
others, and just hang out. We’ll chat, knit, gossip, stitch, wind down after
the long work week, and shop this month’s Happy Hour Sale! We will not be
offering any knitting instructions or help, just a knitting visit…. The
event is free. First come first serve. We have seats for approximately 15
people. Feel free to bring a snack or drinks to share!
