*July Happy Hour*

Come to the next Happy Hour on *Friday, July 3, from 5 to 7 pm*.  Join us
for this social knitting time, meet some new people, re-connect with others,
and just hang out. We’ll chat, knit, gossip, stitch, wind down after the
long work week, and shop this month’s Happy Hour Sale! We will not be
offering any knitting instructions or help, just a knitting visit…. The
event is free. First come first serve. We have seats for approximately 15
people. Feel free to bring a snack or drinks to share!

Because we are closed on Saturday, July 4 for Independence Day, *on Friday,
June 3, 2009, for one day only, take 20% off* all red, white & blue yarn in
stock*! Come pick out a project for the Fourth of July weekend and enjoy a
fun summer weekend with family and friends! We have in stock a great
selection of cool summer yarn, as well as the woolen varieties. Plus, our
sock island is filled with your favorites as well as new arrivals. There is
something for everyone!

Bye-bye Ashlee*

For the past two years, we have really enjoyed working with Ashlee on our
staff.  Perhaps she has helped you select yarn for a project, shown you a
knitting or crocheting trick or two, or even taught a class you've taken.
We are very happy for her (and sad for us) that she will be starting a new
job later this summer as a professor teaching biology in Georgia.  Don't
forget to say your goodbye and wish her the best when you come in the shop
in the next couple of weeks!
