Find the center of a circle on the earth given three points on that circle

I have sets of lat-longs for radio towers. I need to find the center
of a circle which passes thru three of those tower bases.

for FCC reasons, that point will be where the authority of each
license ends in that direction form the tower.

I found a mathmatical description which might work, but I am not able

"/" is not a valid file name character and I missed to manage that
date-display setting. Please change
Replace(Date, ":", "_")
to
Replace(Replace(Date, "/", "_"), ":", "_")

On the other hand, xls2kml 1.16.01.xls.kml must a file you previously
saved.

Hi Tek

Just tried adding that snippet of code and got an error -

Comes up with a Save As dialog, with a default "xls2kml
1.16.01.xls_05/10/2008_no.1" filename. (Another kml file already
exists (xls2kml 1.16.01.xls.kml) in the target directory.)

However when Saving it comes up with Runtime error 76, Path not found.

I am getting an error '53' still. I've tried with GE open and without
GE open.
Which is the file not found error.

I've also tried with GE pro and GE normal.

file name/location is: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop
\xls2kml-1.16.01\test.kml
Tried in C:\test.kml, still got the same error.

What kind of error is it? With me, if GE was already running, it was
prompting a 'file not found' error. When GE was not running, clicking
the yes button was launching both GE and the kml file fine. I have or
I think I have fixed this problem.

By Google spreadsheet, I meant the Spreadsheet Mapper by the Google

I am still getting the shell errors.

Hmmm, I wonder if maybe batchgeocode is working correctly then? I'll
have to investigate further I suppose.
My addresses don't all have to be 100% accurate, but if some stuff is
thrown way out, it would still be good to know.
Or can you confirm you fixed the google spreadsheet error?

Three weeks ago, batchgeocode was working but the Google spreadsheet
was erroneous with addresses. Truly, tests are vital than just coding.
Not every possibility is imaginable by the humans. :(

I think I have fixed the Shell problem. Uploaded without an update
version. Can you redownload and test?

Just a heads up on batchgeocode, I get some pretty obvious anomalies
when plotting with googleearth vs plotting with batchgeocode.
I'm pretty sure it's batchgeocode problem, as it moves some postal
codes into areas they should not be.

As for the shell error, yes, I do get it. If you need help testing

For creating different sets of data you can both use another copy of
the xls file and duplicate the spreadsheet by (the easiest way) ctrl-
drag the name ("kml1") of it below.

Renaming the file can be done in several ways. Refraining from adding
extra cells and functions for this, we better let the script decide

Thanks Tek, that example solved it for me and I leant a lot about
Excel and GE from it.

If I wanted to repeat the exercise for different sets of data, is
there a simple way to automatically saving each output under a new
filename? For example by appending the date and incrementing as in
Reload30_09_08a.kml, Reload30_09_08b.kml, Reload30_09_08c.kml etc.

After having pasted the coordinates from the said second kml by GE and
if you have the distance formula, this should be easy.

I don't think the script can do that. Though batchgeocode can do it,
it is so slow and I can't think of a way to exploit batchgeocode from
an Excel script. Maybe someone may help in this or I can figure it out
having finished my homework.
