Google Groups has a cool feature called Pages, which allows user
edited content. I'd like to set-up pages for various 3rd party
applications related to KML, so that you can showcase your work. I
wanted to talk to you about about the best strategy for that.
So the big problem is, I don't want to allow the creation of any page,
for fear of spam. So, what I'd like to propose is that I create a Page
that is editable by any member of this kml-support. This would be a
"Links to 3rd Party Applications" page. If you want to request a page,
you edit the page to include something like [My
Application:www.myapplication.com]. When I checked that page, I would
look at the website, make sure it's a relevant application. I would
then create a page for that application, and change the text to a link
to "My Application". You could then edit the page for your
application.
How does that sound?

Great idea but would you perhaps include a developer using the Google
Blogger as well for a product description and other referenced links
on the blog pages be ok ? To me, this would help restrict the post
cluttering on the Google Earth kml-support-third-party-applications
page that may be redundant to questions relating to that 3rd party
product or project. IMHO

Could you correct the link signature that you've provided to add the
page?

Unfortunately, Google Groups doesn't give the ability to edit posts.
Hopefully this one comes out better. Groups, I think, cuts off after a
certain length.

Thanks again ManoM !
