Hi everyone,

I've created an editable Feature Request page for KML. Check it out
here:

http://groups.google.com/group/kml-support/web/kml-feature-requests

As I say on the Page, we make no guarantees about what gets
implemented, but it gives us a sense of what the community is
interested in.

ManM,

Is there any plans to add the ability for Ground overlays in Google
Maps Mobile? I added this to the feature request page. I need to do
this in a mobile environment and it would be alot easier if I could do
this right in Google Maps Mobile.

Thanks in advance

Hi ManoM,
thank you for creating the Feature Request page for KML.
I added my support to OwyheeRover's request for CSS support in
ballons.
I hope they implement something of the sort soon. The only way I found
to add style is to use html elements, for example tables, with their
own style, but this needs to be done for every placemark in a
document.
If later I want to change something, style wise, I need to do it for
every placemark instance, I think that is a big drawback of the
current implementation not to mention creating bloated kml files.
Am I missing something?
Thanks,

Hi Bocha10,

No, you're not missing anything. There is limited styling that you can
do on a balloon, using <BalloonStyle>:

http://code.google.com/apis/kml/documentation/kml_tags_21.html#balloonstyle

One thing you could do is investigate using scripts that would make
the change for you. If you set-up the HTML carefully, and use
something like PHP or Python, you could bulk change all your HTML.
