When I try to open a kml file, I get the following message:

open of file failed: parse error at Line 1, Column 0:
out of memory

I uninstalled and reinstalled GE, after which the kml opened up just
fine! However, after removing the kml to make one small adjustment, I
tried to load it back in and got the same error message.

When kml import doesn't work, also anything I search returns "no
results found", which makes me think these two errors are related.

Has anyone else gotten this error message? anyone know what it
means?

Thanks!!

It might be useful for you to upload the KML to the files section,
that way others can open (or try to) and see what the problem is. (at
the very least it could confirm its not a KML problem but something
with your installation of GE)

Hi snowgecko,

Is this a particular KML file? Or any KML file?
