Subject: Putting a GE Active X object on a Matlab GUI
Is there enough flexibility with GE to place an Active X window
(showing the globe and maps the same as with the GE Application) on a
Matlab GUI?  I've been attempting to accomplish this on my own with
the COM API documentation, but have been running into too many
snags.

Of all the GE objects that appear in the Matlab ActiveX Control List,
the GEPluginCoClass object is the only one that will be inserted onto
a Matlab GUI without giving me an error.  However, I can't figure out
how to word the syntax in order to activate it.  I tried to place a
GEGlobeCoClass object on the GUI, but I get the message "Control
creation failed".

Is there anything that I would need to purchase (any license) in order
to use these objects?  Is there any sample code showing these objects
being used?

Thanks,
Renee
