Brainstorming: Things we could do at meetings    

 

  • Free-form BS/discussion sessions/Q&A
  • Structured presentations
  • Plan/code up a toy (or real!) rails app (ask Roy about his 'feedbag.com' idea)
  • Book club sort of thing--choose a book to go through (maybe one person leads each chapter?)
  • Code review--one person leads the group through a bit of their code, for humane discussion/feedback

Sounds good to me!
Since the whole Ruby on Rails environment is basically text based, I
really doesn't matter who's using Mac or Windows.

I like the project idea as well. That would be a good way to learn a
ton.
