Arbor Day Help still badly needed: snacks, parking helpers

Help! We still needs snacks and parking helpers for Arbor Day
tomorrow!

*** Can you provide a few snack items?
Hot cider would be a huge hit too, or any warm beverage - I can bring
cups
(Coffee is already being provided)
We expect 50-100 volunteers, and they will get hungry!

*** We need people to direct cars to parking areas, and to help those
who park at Peter Kirk Elementary find their way to the park.

City-wide Arbor Day event
Saturday, Nov. 14
Cotton Hill Park
9am-12pm

Wear gloves and *** WATERPROOF BOOTS and RAINGEAR *** that can get
muddy
(if you are dressed warm and dry, working in this weather is actually
FUN!)

Some tools provided, but bring a shovel if you can (put your name on
it)

We'll be planting over 400 trees and native plants and spreading
mulch.

Help transform Cotton Hill Park from a blackberry jungle to a
beautiful, healthy forest
