Hey Everyone!

I had an awesome time at Kink for All. It was really really fun to show the queer documentaries by Q.U.R.A.S.H. co-Lab-- the Kieth Haring bathroom is, so far, my all-time favorite venue ;>

I got really excited with the director's cut screening & totally ran out of time for Q& A.
Zo. I promised the folk there (and anyone else who's curious) that they could question me about the flicks by email. And then (Thriving on) Chaos trapped me in the bathroom. It was awesome. But no contact info was distributed.

Which is all my long winded way of saying:

Indeed. Through the magic of das Intarwebz we're already creating
automagically organized compilations of all the media that's being
created around the event, but again, you have to add the appropriate
metadata (tags) when you publish your content. In practice, this
really just means tag everything "KFANYC" and your stuff will make it
into the compilations.

Sincerest thanks to Dacia, who's already uploaded the videos she took
of some of our presentations onto Vimeo[0].

Seconded on the dedicated social space. It's worth noting that this
was actually part of our original plan (as is described on the
WhatToExpect page[1]) but we axed it because we *thought* there
wouldn't be as many presentation a there turned out to be. So
basically this lack was a function of our own success; you guys
participated SO MUCH and SO WONDERFULLY that we underestimated the
amount of venue space we needed. Next time we *know* that a dedicated
social space is all but required.

Again seconded—participants of KFANYC are now uniquely capable of
unorganizing events elsewhere. I strongly encourage you guys to
support the efforts in other places. You've seen first-hand how it
works and thus can replicate the experience with the support of
something wonderful already in your mind's eye. Let's go do that—I've
already thrown my hat into the ring to help out in DC. :)
