Another fun family bike ride - Blackberry Jamboree volunteers needed!

Hello Folks,

I am inviting you to be on the Blackberry Jamboree Volunteer Team. The
Blackberry Jamboree is a community bike ride that has two ten mile
loops that meander throughout the neighborhoods of Eugene with park
stops along the way. The bike ride is purposefully planned to connect
the neighborhoods throughout town and show people how close we all are
to one another and city services. The bike ride finishes at EWEB
plaza where festivities will ensue. There will be festivities such as,
music by the one and only Samba Ja, circus arts, a raffle, bike
checks, blackberry pie, ice cream and much more! The plan for the
proceeds of the Blackberry Jamboree is to assist and fund programs
like Safe Routes to School (SRTS) and Bicycle Safety Education in our
community.

The event will run from 9am-4pm. We are looking for committed
volunteers to help with pre-event logistics and day of volunteers to
staff our set-up and takedown shifts. Each shift will include
different areas such as: music, food, GEARs info booth, SRTS info
booth, Refuse Resource crew, raffle booth, and possibly other areas to
work in.

you the first week of July to confirm your help during the Blackberry
