August 17th Olympic/Sprint and Quarry Swims

Hello Kicks,
Is anyone else planning to attend the August 17th Mid-August Meltdown
sprint and olympic distance triathlons in Effingham, IL?

Allison Stoll and I plan to do the olympic distance and we were
wondering if others were interested.

On a related note, does anyone go to the Quarry regularly? I prefer
trying it when others are present. Is the water still cold?

Remember IF you are going to swim in the quarry you must find the owner pay
and sign the paperwork first.
I am planning to go to Matoon Ill. on 08/16 and race a 300 swim--12
bike-3 run the next day Effingham which is 5 or 6 miles away is having a
400--13--5k which I plan on racing also
