Biocon Ltd has announced the following Audited results for the quarter
& year ended March 31, 2008:
The results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2008
The Company has posted a net profit after exceptional items of Rs
62.03 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs
47.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has
decreased from Rs 241.45 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to
Rs 236.71 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2008.
The results for the Year ended March 31, 2008
The Company has posted a net profit after exceptional items of Rs
434.94 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs
158.35 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has
increased from Rs 863.09 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs
929.21 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008.
The Consolidated results are as follows:

The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 65.30 crore for the quarter
ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 60.70 crore for the quarter
ended March 31, 2007. Total Income has decreased from Rs 279.42 crore
for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 279.22 crore for the
quarter ended March 31, 2008.
The consolidated results for the Year ended March 31, 2008
The Group has posted a net profit of Rs 463.91 crore for the year
ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 200.25 crore for the year ended
March 31, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 989.55 crore for
the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 1090.20 crore for the year ended
March 31, 2008.
