Equity Alert: DLF, Power Grid shares seen up on Nifty inclusion
MUMBAI--9:30AM--Shares of DLF and Power Grid Corp are seen rising
today as they will form part of Nifty stocks from today,
DLF replaces Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals in the 50-share Nifty
index.
Power Grid replaces Bajaj Auto following the demerger of the auto
major's automotive and finance businesses into Bajaj Holdings &
Investment Ltd, and Bajaj FinServ Ltd.
Shares included in Nifty often attract investor interest, dealers
said.
Thursday, shares of Power Grid ended at 89.45 rupees, down 13.74%.
DLF closed at 606.25 rupees, down 15.02% from previous close.
