Equity Alert: Key European markets fall; commodity, tech cos down
MUMBAI--2:40PM--Key European markets were down as investors took
profits
in shares of commodity producers. BHP Billiton was down 3%.
Technology shares also declined following UBS' downgrade of ASML
Holding.
ASML shares dropped 3.5%.
Deutsche Postbank rose 2% on reports Commerzbank and Allianz have
expressed interest in jointly bidding for the bank.
