TVS Motor Jun two-wheeler sales 109,082 units, up 2% on year

TVS Motor Co. Ltd. today reported a 2% year-on-year rise in
two-wheeler sales for June, its third consecutive monthly sales
growth.
The Chennai-based company said it sold 109,082 two-wheelers in
June compared with 107,177 units in the same month last year.
Sales were, however, down almost 3% sequentially.
During the month, motorcycle sales rose 9% from a year ago to
51,409 units, a company release said.
TVS Motor had sold 47,380 motorcycles in the year ago period.
