BSE Notice: BEML gets 345-mln-rupee order from Malawi, Tunisia
MUMBAI - Text of BEML Ltd announcement published on Bombay Stock
Exchange Web site, bseindia.com, today:
BEML Ltd has informed BSE regarding a Press Release titled "BEML Bags
Construction Equipment Orders valued Rs 34. 50 Crores from Malawi and
Tunisia"
Press Release: "BEML LTD, the leading Mining and Construction
Equipment Manufacturer in India and second largest in Asia, has bagged
export orders of total value of 34.50 crores from African countries.
The orders comprise of 35 equipments valuing Rs 21.50 crores
received from Tunisia and 18 equipments valuing Rs 13 crores from
Malawi.
The Equipments range from Small Size Bull Dozers to Back Hoe Loaders,
Wheel Loaders, Hydraulic Excavators etc.
Recently BEML has bagged Mining Equipment orders from Indonesia for a
value of 207 crores. BEML has established its presence in more than 52
countries and has been consistently focusing on the international
business activities with major thrust on Asia Pacific, Middle East and
African markets.
To increase its overseas market penetration, BEML has set up its
Offices in China, Malaysia and Brazil.
BEML has Order Book of Rs 4,000 Crores and with the expected orders
in the pipe line, soon the Order Book will cross Rs 5,000 Crores. BEML
plans to achieve a sale of Rs 3,600 Crores in the fiscal year
2008-09."
