Hi - just trying to configure the options for 4 monitors. I have it
working on 3 which all are running the same resolution - the 4 can't
support the same.

I'm trying to congiure the monitors in the options but and stuck on
what i need to type in and in there relationships.

Any help.

Hi Nic,

It just depends on your config and placement.
In the screen saver settings window, you'll see a monitor configuration tab,
where you can enter the left-most position, total height, etc.
Based on your combined screen resolutions, enter the appropriate values.
You may need to tweak them to get your preferred result.

Thanks,
Kelly

I don't know if this is the right thread, but i have used this
screensaver for months and no problems, then one day bam!! It only
shows up on half of my 1680x1050 monitor, and about a third of the
screen on my secondary 19" monitor. I tried uninstalling and
installing the new version, same problem. I don't really understand
how the Monitor tab is to be used, maybe a little more in depth
explanation of what the numbers correspond to in the monitors tab. I
am not a computer guru so that tab is a little confusing to me.
Thanks for the awesome looking screensaver and your time in responding
to my post.

Will,

My guess is that you're using different resolutions on your monitors. This
is why I added the Monitor configuration tab. You can specify the exact
dimensions of your full set of monitors. Remember: Everything is based on
your main monitor.
Here's an example:

ie: if you have 800x600 on your main monitor and on the right you have your
second monitor at 1024x768.
Given the above example:

Left-most: 0
(this is 0 because your main monitor is the first (leftmost) monitor).

Right-most: 1824
(this is basically the full width of all monitors: 800+1024 )

Start height: 0
(this is usually 0, unless you have monitors stacked on top of each other,
etc)

Total height: 1368
(The height is the total height (pixels) of all your monitors heights added
together: 600+768 )

I tried this, my extra monitor is on the left so i tried it the exact
way you suggested and with the opposite side setting,( i set right
most to 0 and added the two together for left most) still no go. Had
the exact same results. I would appreciate any more help you could
give. Thanks for your speed reply also.

Send me exactly what you entered, so I can tell if it's right.
Also tell me your exact monitor configuration, as well as the resolution of
each monitor. Without these details, no one can help...

I have 1 1680x1050 monitor as a primary, and one 1366x768 on the left
of the primary monitor. I tried the settings in the software these
two configs.-
Left-most position: 3046 Right-most postion- 0 Start height
position-0 Total height- 1818, the second config i tried was to
switch the left most and right most numbers.

I have a HP Vista 64 bit
8 gigs ram
Nvidia 9800 GTX+
Display Fusion for my dual monitor setup( for customizing purposes)

This problem happened out of the blue also, it worked fine for months,
then all of a sudden I started having this problem. I cannot think of
any windows or other relevant updates that i did that would have
changed things to cause this error. Thanks again for speedy reply and
help

Try these settings:

Left-most: -1366

Right-most: 3046

Start height: 0

Total height: 1818

If that doesn't work correctly, try the same settings, except for
Total height: 1050

Wellll..... just to let you know when dealing with noob computer users
like me you might wanna remind us about the little "use this
configuration" checkbox. ROFL, so it works perfect with your
suggested settings except for one thing. My small monitor has a
section about 3-4 inches that doesn't display the screensaver. If i
use it without the monitor settings then it does the same thing on the
big monitor, but its at the bottom instead, and its black, just the
code doesn't go all the way to the bottom whereas on the little
monitor it actually shows the desktop in the missing section. Sorry
for the noobness and thanks again for all your help and patience,

This thread is very informative and helped me resolve my half-screen
problem also, but I really suggest putting some kind of instruction on
coordinates/placement into the screensaver itself.

Most people cant be bothered to hunt down solutions in forums, and
upon seeing the screensaver displaying incorrectly, will just write it
off as broken, worthless, lame, etc.

Thanks for your efforts so far though, best screensaver out there!
