Suggestions (not requests :)..) for keepnote

Well after using keepnote for a few days (and importing my HUGE basket
database...which took a full day) i have to say i just LOVE keepnote.
thx matt for developing this quite awesome program.
I dont know if this is the correct place for this but the issue page
in google code dosent seem the correct place.
I have written down some ideas and suggestions (not "request" by any
means) which in my opinion could add to the already great
functionality of keepnote. I know how hard it si to develop software
(event though i have Zero programing skills..) so i really don't
expect most of it to be implemented, i just thought that these ideas
could eb useful. so enough talking here are the things i found could
improve keepnote:
• add a highlight effect/mark to the search words in each individual
page
• add option for sub-folder/notes (child) to take on parent icon
• bookmarks for favourite and most used notes (saves time searching
for them)
• Add option to link to attachments as well
• add more tool bar options (add attachment,undo. add horizontal bar,
add image etc..)
• Resize multiple images at once
• add option to start minimized
• abiliy to lock notes from editing
• better keyboard only operation- great for netbooks and laptops.
assign a key to switch between the 3 panels (tab is useless when in
editing mode..) etc..
• a darker or thicker separator option...the current one is not always
easily visible
• copy and paste folder, pages
• Find replace options
I would also love to contribute to the project in other areas needed
(such as simple graphic stuff, icon manipulations, documentation
etc..). please let me know if help is needed.
once again thx for this really great program, im a PhD student and use
it daily for all my notes and ideas!

I'm glad you like KeepNote. I too was a Basket user before developing KeepNote.

Thanks for the ideas. I can't guarantee implementing them, but it
does hurt to brain storm.

I don't think this will be necessary once note-to-note linking is
available. Check out the testing version:

Note-to-note linking will do this.

I may someday allow a custom toolbar, so people can have as little or
as much as they want on it.

Several people have requested this. I can add it to my todo.

Have you tried:
ctrl+t = focus on treeview
ctrl+y = focus on listview
ctrl+d = focus on editor

A future version will probably have this.

I have find/replace for single pages only right now.
