I had downloaded KeePass from Google Play and set up a couple of password 'groups' - one for work, one for personal and used the app without any problem.  I don't need to use it often so it's been a while since I last used it.  Anyway, I went to open it and was surprised to find KeePassDroid in place of KeePass.  However, my real fright is that my password databases seem to be gone.  Most important questions - where are those databases?  Are they gone?  How can I get them back?  Less important question - how/why did this happen?  I wasn't aware of allowing KeePassDroid to replace KeePass; to me it seems to have just happened.

KeePassDroid obviously didn't replace KeePass (whatever that is, no such product as far as I know) so two main possibilities, you didn't download "KeePass" but KeePassDroid or you downloaded 2 different keepass file managers (and probably still have  both installed), use the correct product. Failing that search the SDCARD for the database file.

Hi dbareis,

Thanks for your post - I hadn't thought to look at the SD card directly, I was simply looking for the app I thought I should see.  Yes, I found the password database I was looking for, just sitting there.  Duh!

While I know that I know only enough to be dangerous, I do believe there is/was an app called "KeePass Password".  If you go to this link; http://www.keepassdroid.com/  you'll find this statement, "KeePassDroid is a port of the KeePass Password safe for the Android platform."  which refers to what I have referred to as the app I was looking for.

Thanks again, I really appreciate your taking the time to respond to my cry for help.
