Keepassdroid 1.99.7.2

Cannot open my databases as I use a key, and no matter what Key I try, It tells me that "File type not supported"

I had used a .key file for over a year, this week this started to happen.   I have tried .jpg files and some others, but it doesn't seem to matter, no matter what I try, the phone tells me it is not supported

Any help please

Michael

I want to add that I completely wiped and reinstalled JB on my phone, and I still can't get my Keepass to work as it says "File Type Not Supported" for any type of file I try to use to unlock my database file

Some help would be nice

Same here - so I changed my Master-Key in Windows to not use a key-file, and re-saved by database. I am now trying the key file separately. I will post what happens here.

Mine now works: I had to "Download" the key file (into my /mnt/sdcard/Downloads folder) - which makes sense. Having both the database and the key file in my Google Drive would be insecure. I use Drive to transfer the file, download it, then delete it in drive for security.

Brand new phone - and it still tells me Key file type not supported.  Motorola RAZR running 4.1.2, Keypass 1.99.7.2
I have tried using the default keymaker, images, docs and other file types, but none work.  What's up, I want the extra security of a Key File

I have the same problem and it also happens with the keepass  file name.
I could get mine open if I manually type the fill path/filename  IE  /storage/sdcard0/keyfile.mine

It worked!  Typing in the direct path worked, also using ESF file explore instead of the default program worked to!
